About Me

A little about me......I love reading, but never seem to have the time. I not only love reading but love books….just holding one, or seeing one on a shelf makes me happy. I love the smell of libraries.  I am the girl who forgets to return her books and ends up paying for them. I love music, but don’t have a musical bone in my body. If you asked me to sing “Happy Birthday” you probably wouldn’t even recognize it. I’m the girl on American Idol who sings in the shower and sounds great to herself, but can’t carry a tune to save her life. I love dancing…..doing it and watching it. Ballet dancers blow my mind. They are strong but delicate, which is probably how I would describe myself. I love tattoos, piercings and blue hair and people who aren’t afraid to be themselves. I love pictures and have discovered photography. I love freezing time for a minute because it seems to go by too fast. I love how a picture can transport you back to a certain moment and feeling. I love crafts, making things, and decorating……but I’m not very crafty. I can’t hang pictures straight, and I can’t even sew on a button. I am in total awe of the people that can and wish I was like them. I would love to be able to make my kid’s clothes. My children and my husband are my life. There is nothing better than being a mom. I see the world with cynical eyes, but am trying to change that. My children help me to see the good in the world and keep it simple. I hate doing laundry, mostly because I let it pile up until I have 4 loads to do at one time. When I am depressed I eat cake batter. I hate celery. My favorite color is black.
